Soccer time!!!! (not bout my studless boots)
Ok that's a lame title.. But this post is not bout somethin lame like my dirty old boots! It's bout an amazing soccer match i just played with the lads.. It was simply one hell of a game i must say!
The game between my batch's sec 4 express team and tech dudes were played just now at around 4pm.. Like i said, the tech dudes surely was gonna have a better strategy this time round and I was right bout that.. They brought in great players like Nizam and Sufie this time round.. Also, both teams were allowed two outsider players and dang, both lads from the tech's team looked intimidating at first sight.. And they sure were terrific players i'd say.. As for our team, we invited Saifuddin and Ahmad prata from sec 5 acad to play for us.. Of course, they're great players too.. By the way, we devided the game into 3 periods throughout 90mins.. So it's 30mins each period..
I played right-mid during the 1st period.. Managed to score the opening goal just like our previous encounter and woo hoo it felt good! It came from a low cross from Hirman i think, which passed everyone else.. haha! But that excitement did not last when the tech dudes scored the equiliser!! And scored another.. Another.. and err.. yea another! 4-1 just like that.. Crap! I didn't get the ball on the right wing much while playing that period.. I don't think i even manage to send a cross from the right wing.. The tech were controlling the midfield all the way creating lots of chances for their team.. Hakim was a threat to us not forgeting Alif, Nizam and the two outsiders..
This brought us to discuss on new strategies to break the tech's attack and create chances for ourselves.. I heard that our captain Syafiq gave the team a good scolding for playing like crap but i wasn't there cause i went to the toilet.. hehe.. So back into the 2nd period.. Started out playing center-mid and ended up playing striker after i scored my 2nd goal! haha.. And i have to applaud my team's defenders cause they did really well from this period on.. Especially Nikmat who made many tackles and strengthen the right side of the pitch and Saifuddin, who made vital interceptions for our team.. The good thing was that our team kept our spirits high even though we were losing..
However the highlight for this period was when i accidentally kicked the tech's goalkeeper, Sufie right at his face!! It was during a great chance on goal when the ball was free near the goalpost but Sufie dived to the ground and pushed the ball away exactly when i was trying to whack the ball and freakin shit i horrifically hit his face!!!! Holy shit!! that's what i thought.. He layed flat on the ground covering his face.. I shouted for help and fiq poured water on his face.. Sufie was fine soon after.. Amazingly, he said his hand hurts during the accident, not his head.. I couldn't stop apologising but he said it's alright.. They changed their goalie from then on.. So it's 5-2 after 2nd period..
3rd period of the game was when more drama happened.. Right during kick-off, Syafiq sent the ball right to the back of the net from half court!! Awesome sia.. 5-3.. We played hard this time round and we could see the tech's players getting tired.. Still got chance!! Our defence were rock solid and Sidek who was striker at first was actually great at defence! Then out of nowhere.. Bang! i scored my hat-trick! hahaha.. Than.. Bang!! Another just like my first goal.. Then i did a blooper when i was overjoyed celebrating the equiliser by running like siao while covering my head with my shirt and bang! not a goal... but i hit Khyrul who wanted to celebrate my goal too!! hahaha.. Fell down to the ground like 'nangka busok' sia.. Later on was when the miracle happened.. Syafiq dribbled like mad towards the right side of the box and shot the ball at a tight angle........... GOAL!!!!!!!!! The whole team was overjoyed and everyone came running towards Fiq and jumped at him on the ground... Even the subtitutes!! What a moment!! It was simply an incredible feeling.. Celebrate as if we just won Champion's League or what.. Madness...! It wasn't over yet and the tech dudes almost scored an equiliser when the ball hit our post! Almost everyone went to defend after that and soon after... The game ended..
We actually won 6-5 from trailing 1-4 at the start.. Terrific! Everyone played a part in the win.. Each and every single player.. Our influential captain who scored 2 amazing goals.. Our goalie Faris made a number of great saves too.. Honestly, i didn't play well today.. Losing the ball when i got hold of them and running up and down the field like an idiot without getting the ball.. I got lucky when i took my chances and got 4 goals for the team.. None of them that spectacular but like Ridwan said, it doesn't matter cause a goal is a goal.. hell yea he's right..
What a game.. and yea.. i dedicate the 4 goals to hurr.. haha! jk.. Ok seriously before the game is played, she told me to score 8 goals.. but getting half of it is not bad i guess.. hehe..
